Direct flight between Kurdistan and Athens

	Erbil – The unprecedented direct flight between Kurdistan and Athens started. As such, people can fly directly form Erbil to Athens on Fridays, while from Sulaimaniyah on Wednesdays. Head of Hanzo Airways, Shwan Anwar, confirmed the news by saying that "ever before the first direct flight from Athens arrived in Erbil on Saturday 12:00 a.m. (local time) and after its return the plane touched down in Athens on 22: 40 p.m. (Athens time)". "An airbus is scheduled to arrive in Erbil every Friday at 12:00 a.m.", head of the organizing Miran company, Mariwan Shamoun, said. As regards to the flights between Sulaimaniyah and Athens, Shamoun added that "the schedule is not in place yet, but it will soon be completed". AKnews
