| 12,182 cars entered Iraq through Kurdistan border in 2009 |

A total of 12,182 imported cars have entered Iraq via the Haj Omran border outlet, Joman, throughout 2009, the head of the customs department in the district said. “All cars have had temporary license plates…,” Sallam Arab told Aswat al-Iraq news agency. Joman district lies 180 km northeast of Arbil, the capital city of Iraq’s Kurdistan region which lies 349 km northeast of Baghdad. Aswat Al Iraq
