Italian ambassador discusses cooperation in irrigation projects in Iraq

	The Iraqi minister of water resources has met with the Italian ambassador in the country to discuss means of boosting cooperation in the irrigation sector, a ministry statement said. “Minister of Water Resources Abdullateef Jamal Rasheed discussed with the Italian ambassador to the country, Maurizio Melani, and his accompanying delegation means of enhancing cooperation between the two countries in the irrigation sector,” read the statement that was received by Aswat al-Iraq news agency. The meeting has also tackled the Italian government’s support for the ministry’s projects in the country, the statement added. Aswat Al Iraq
